Handmade by Cathy Ashton specialises in personalised embroidery, handmade baby gifts, keepsakes and sewing services. Products include personalised baby blankets, baby grows, bibs, dummy clips, collars, hats, layettes and other embroidered items. Personalised clothing, mugs, keepsakes and selected sewing and alteration services are also available.
Yes. Many of our products can be personalised with a name, wording or design. Personalisation options will be shown on the individual product page when available.
Yes. Where colour choices are available, you can select your preferred embroidery colour from the options shown on the product page.
Simply select the product you would like, choose the available options and enter the name or wording you would like embroidered. Please check all spelling carefully before placing your order, as personalised items are made specifically for you.
As our products are handmade and personalised to order, please allow time for your item to be carefully made and embroidered. The expected turnaround time will be shown on the website where applicable.
If you need an item by a particular date, please contact me before placing your order. I will always try to help where possible, depending on my current workload.
Orders are carefully packaged and sent by post or courier. Delivery charges and available delivery options will be shown at checkout.
Yes, we offer delivery within the UK. Please see the delivery information at checkout for current postage charges and options.
Absolutely. Our personalised baby items make lovely gifts for new babies, baby showers, christenings, birthdays and other special occasions.
Yes. Every item is made and/or personalised by Cathy with care and attention to detail. As handmade products are individually created, there may be very slight variations from photographs, making each piece unique.

Because personalised items are made especially for you, they generally cannot be returned simply because you have changed your mind. If your item arrives faulty or there is a mistake on my part, please contact me as soon as possible so I can resolve the issue.
Please carefully check all personalisation details before completing your order. Once an item has been embroidered, changes may not be possible. If you notice an error shortly after ordering, please contact me immediately and I will do my best to help.
